Creams Cafe Maidstone — Restaurant in Maidstone

I was there with my boyfriend in the middle of the week, around 2 o'clock afternoon, and the place was not busy at all. Actually I saw only one table with small family there. However, we have been waiting a few minutes for a waiter to noticed us. It was our first visit there so we did not know how it works. Waiter came and give us a seat with menu, explain the offer and left. If you want to order, you have to get up, go to the till, order and pay there. Have to remember the number of your table and when the order is done, they will bring it to you, exept of napkins and cutlery which you have to take by yourself from a counter opposite to the tills. I have ordered american waffle with strawberries, caramel sauce and white chocolate springs on the top. It goes with a vanilla ice cream or custard and cost me around 7 pounds. Waffle was soft, warm and fluffy! Sweet a lot but with ice cream makes a nice balance! The price is high but the portion is eenough big. I was after lunch so could not eat it all. There is also an option to ask for a box and take away. Don't decide yet if it worth that kind of money... definitely love it but the price is so high that I rather spend...

Even though we got our orders relatively quickly, there was one struggle to get a cup of coffee which had been ordered together with everything else. My mother finished her dessert, and was still waiting for her coffee.We all got our drinks except her. When we asked the waitress she promissed to bring it soon, but we kept waiting, and waiting...And then we had to go and ask again. And, eventually, the coffee has been served. I wonder what was so difficult in making plain americano, because I'm pretty sure making my intricate strawberry milkshake and crepes takes more effort and skills... Therefore you only get 2 stars and advice from me as well: only bring in new customers after you have properly served the exsisting ones, then you won't need to make excuses that you...

Been there a few times in past, enjoyed the food but last visit 22/2/20, I ordered 5 different ice creams or crepes, one for me, bro and nephew and nieces. Girl took my order at the till, put my order down as a Crepes Royale rather than Creams Royale which I wanted, I didn't know the name of the Crepes with strawberry and chocolate drizzle as it's for my niece because she chosed and the girl who took my order got confused which led me to accidentally order chocolate fudge for bro rather the cookie dough gelato and bro asked me if the girl repeated my order, no she didn't.
