McCoy's — Restaurant in Maidstone

Food is fine but I just can't be bothered to use the place as they only take cash. Adding it up, they lose around £650 a year out of just us and I have mates that do the same. I just pick it up from somewhere that takes card on the way home. Tried it again today in case they started taking card. They don't. Instead of buying cod and chips for the whole family, I just bought large chips to tide us over as I only had a fiver in my pocket and the cash machine wasn't working again. This evening we witnessed a young lady being verbally abused and publicly shamed by an older colleague infront of many customers and staff.

The way this young lady was spoken to was absolutely disgusting to the extent we walked out as we felt really uncomfortable...

The food we have always had has been great but after what we witnessed this evening has left us with a really poor experience...

If this young lady was my daughter I would not be allowing her to return to this...

I’ve recently moved into the area and for the past few weeks we have all had to live in strange and challenging times. This is the first takeaway meal I’ve had since the end of March. I have a healthy appetite but it beat me. The staff were polite and friendly. The shop was spotless and then came the food. The portion of fish was huge and so were the chips. This is a 10 out of 10 and what a return to takeaway food. I really tried to eat it all, but I failed. Absolutely superb.
