After taking our dog to the vets. We were feeling really hungry. So thought a subway would be a good idea. We got back to the car to eat our subway. To our surprise after my husband had a few bites he was horrified to find a dead spider in his footlong sub. It made us all feel physical sick. Myself and our kids didn't want to eat any of our subways. So with that we went back to subway hoping for an apology and understanding with this situation but all we got was nothing but rudeness and insults. My husband got called a lier he turned to us and said it was a seed,Quite clearly it wasn't. He had no gloves on as he examined both subways. No Professional hygiene, as he flick the dead spider on the customer’s face mask box on the till. He refused to give us a refund. He only wanted to refund us for one sub. After discussing for 5 minutes. It was only in till he started losing customers as they were all well aware what was going on, we received a full refund but after he demanded everything back including crisps and cookies for the kids. We are loyal customer’s to subway and have been for years. Even in hawaii, America, Cornwall. We Always have a subway where ever we travel Unfortunately this event has put myself and my family off for life. It’s not just the spider it's the way we were treated by the manager Chris. I’ve been a regular at this subway for a year because it’s the only place I buy sandwiches from that’s close to my work. Every time I order, it never comes out correct, left in the oven for too long after the timer finishes, or they do not stick to the guidelines on how to make the sub I.e. not using enough and or the correct ingredients. When entering the store it feels miserable, especially if the worker Sophian is making your sub, you have to ask him to change gloves as you can see the cross contamination of other foods still on his hands from the previous subs he makes and not to say how uncomfortable he makes you feel while ordering (has no pride in being a ‘sandwich artist’ & throws it all together) STOP WORKING THERE IF YOU'RE UNHAPPY, it makes the little things in life that please us loyal customers undesirable.
