Best Kebab & Pizza House — Restaurant in Maldon

Lesson learnt ! This place has really gone down hill. The last time i ordered I had chicken shish and threw most of the chicken in the bin due to it being what I can only explain as rubbery with grissle. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again. But yet again the chicken was blanned, rubbèry and grissly. Not only that my pitta was so soggy, not griddled nice like they used to be. The chilli sauce had a peculiar taste too, as if it was made from old produce. As for the pizza style garlic bread well that was cooked to a crisp and tasteless, that went in the bin too. Have used this place for many years but very disappointed that the standards have changed, time to look for somewhere...

Tonight we ordered to have our chicken Kebab delivered, normally we would collect, however for £1 delivery, we choose this option. Normally, our Kebab is very good from this establishment,….. however tonight it was clearly too busy, or the chef was inattentive or simply not bothered as the kebab was burnt. You can argue that on a grill you will get a chargrilled effect, and yes, it’s normally really good and why we return, and why I have scored a 3 overall, but tonight it’s a 1 star rating unfortunately. I ordered a mixed kebab (£11.50) with Chilli sauce. I received a very small portion size, and the wrong sauce... I also ordered 16pcs spicy chicken wings, everything was cold. I didn’t get any salad either. Not worth the money (£17.20) and a tip of 80p. The kebab itself wasn’t even worth £4.00! Usually this place is alright, if you go to the shop, it’s nice and you get a good portion. But this time the delivery was really bad quality.
