The Indian Grill — Restaurant in Maldon

First order from the Indian grill tonight. Really looked forward to trying this new restaurant after they took over hey bridge tandoori but not the results I was hoping for. Food took an hour (which isn’t bad when it’s lovely and fresh and worth it) but this wasn’t the case. First of all the missed out one one dish (chicken tikka masala) which was an important dish because of this I phoned up and they quickly got a new one to me which in fact only took 10 minutes. But I had to reheat the remaining food due to it being cold as I had to wait. They did give me a free bottle of beer as an apology but I was really looking forward to a nice meal but had several issues such as above but most importantly the salt content was quite high especially in the tikka sauce. Please lower this as it’s very salt.

Fancied an Indian so we give them a go since they opened and they’re close to home. Very welcoming when we got there. The gentleman server took her order. He would back everything to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We got a drink while we were waiting for our takeaway received our takeaway they open the door for us when we left home and what can I say about the food, but oh my God, the portions were very very generous. We couldn’t eat everything that we ordered. We ordered for poppadoms with mango chutney. We also ordered four coconut nanas . And we were stuffed.
