I had to give one star because I couldn't give none. My husband went to the bar and ordered 1 pint of Pedigree and 1 pint of Brakspear. The till showed £3.50 for the Pedigree and £2.80 for Brakspear. The latter was quickly changed to £ 3.50. I then checked the displayed pricelist. Brakspear didn't feature and Pedigree was £2.95 per pint. I questioned this at the bar and the manager was extremely rude and told me these were festival prices ( obviously not for locals) and if I didn't like it, to go elsewhere. We didn't and we did and we won't be back!We also saw another person complain who was given a similar response. I've reported them to weights...
Read moreThank God their our still some proper "PUBS" still out there!!, arrived Sunday around 2.30pm right in the middle of "Bingo", had great afternoon no food being served, no kids sitting at the bar so adult talk and humour could prevail what a change from other establishments who call themselves "PUBS" but our infact restaurants!!!!, imagine telling a blue joke or just swearing in a "Weatherspoons" and don't mention dogs!! apparently we are a dog loving nation and bearing in mind most of "Weatherspoons" clientele our older people or young bucks I'm surprised they have any patrons at all. Read moreThis Inn is situated on the edge of the River Severn in Upton upon severn. Has plenty of seating inside and outside. This Inn is definitely a personal choice place. Not much atmosphere and staff were ok but not as welcoming. It is reasonably priced and nicely decorated but could do with a good clean as dust in places shouldn't be.. This Inn being beside the river is nice as can sit with a drink and relax. There is a nice selection of drinks.
