I'm so pleased Riverside Cafe is back in business. My first return visit today, .at 30th, to this Tenbury Wells gem. My favourite haunt for breakfast or brunch when I go for a ride out on my Yamaha Fazer, as today, or in my old Triumph Spitfire car. Always a friendly welcome but, above all, the food is good. All freshly prepared, nicely cooked and well presented. The pride in cooking simple foods well and pleasing customers is evident. My favourite is the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette; superb. The home-made lasagne is excellent also; as is the homemade coleslaw. Riverside Cafe is situated on right just over the Teme bridge from the Worcester/Ludliw road side. Cheap chipolata -style sausages, anaemic toast, cheap baked beans, and 2 very undercooked fried eggs were redeemed only slightly by some very nice bacon. I've come to set my expectations at realistic levels, but I still think a tenner for a full English breakfast should deliver at least reasonably good ingredients reasonably well cooked. Parking good(two bikes took 1 car space with room for more bikes to park if required) still pleanty of spaces available. Food was lush, best sausage Bacon and egg sarnie I've tasted in long time!
