Canadian Charcoal Pit — Restaurant in Manchester

Ordered May 19th - my delivery details were unknowingly reset via the app to one id deleted a year ago, which meant when the driver called to say he had arrived, I went down to meet him and no one was there. I then called apologising (though not my fault) and asked if he could drop my meal off on the way to his next drop, as it was in Middleton and I am not far, or even after. He refused, was rude and hung up the phone. I then called the takeaway to which they took my new address and also said I hung the phone up on the driver, me knowing I did not (like I need to lie). It is the second time this takeaway has insinuated I have lied when they can not accept when they are wrong. I questioned the driver on what he told them and he then raised his voice, meanwhile the takeaway is calling my phone asking me to pay the driver £2 for the "extra effort to correct my mistake", though the driver was en-route to the takeaway with my undelivered food; which I'm sure is against Just-Eat's policy? The food was ok, but the poor customer service meant it left a sour taste in my mouth and I could not enjoy the food. You may not value your customers enough to be bothered that I am no longer a loyal customer....

WARNING!!! Do not order from here!!! I have ordered from here every week for months, until I had to complain today, because of all three of the cheesy chips being uncooked. Then when he brought the replacement because I’d picked the cheese off one of them. He’d accused me of eating them ALL. Having a go at me on my own front door step for all the neighbours to hear. I never complain but the chips was inedible and instead of accepting constructive criticism, he decided to have a go at me, very poor customer service and it made me feel uncomfortable and distraught. I have spent a lot of money here, and I’m shocked on how the situation was handled, considering you are a business. It was extremely unprofessional and as a young girl, quite threatening. Please go on a customer service course because it’s diabolical to treat your once loyal...

Great takeaway with lovely people running it. They're always quite busy but are happy to have a chat while working as well.

They give you food as fresh as possible and they have a hygiene rating of 5, so definitely worth checking out this place if you haven't.

Food is always good (I go for the kebab, my partner for the calzone), and we've always enjoyed it...
