Panda King — Local services in Manchester

Review of special chow mein Disclaimer: based on what I can remember of the special chow mein dish from a couple months ago to what it has been changed to now. I have been purchasing the old special chow mein dish over the last 3 ish years.

What it used to have: Pak choi, broccoli, duck (char su), Baby corn

What it currently has and used to have in addition to the above: Beef, chicken, prawn, onions, spring onions, garlic

What has been exchanged for what it used to have: bell peppers

It used to be £5.80 and now increased to £6.50. If you ask me, I'm disappointed. The store has been renovated alongside the menu change, you'd think the special chow mein would at least remain the same for an increase in price (this is understandable given inflation), not be downgraded for an increase in price.

I am disappointed. I feel cheated, and I can no longer confidentally say panda king make my favourite...

If i could give this 0 stars i would. Delivery took almost 2 hours, despite me living 5 mins away. The food was beyond a dissapointment. I ordered the Megabox, the chicken was dry and had an excessive amount of salt. My salt and pepper chips came with a load of vinegar on them to top this terrible delivery THERE WAS HAIR IN MY CHICKEN. When i called to utter my frustration and asked for the manager, I got told i was lying and wouldn't be offered a refund, when I'm ordering food at 9.34pm for my family to eat, this is the worst thing that could happen on a Sunday evening. Ordered the supermega box - salt&pepper everything basically - initially told it would take 1h45 to deliver so was please it only took an hour... However that is about the only positive I have to say.

Opened up the damp, grease-leaking pizza box to see what I can only describe as a number of different deep fried elements, non of which had salt&pepper amongst them.

I've never had the feeling of immediately wanting to throw up after a meal just to get the stuff out of my system. Binned the majority of the box.
