I have been here a couple of times. Normally when I go I have had a few beers and thankful for food. Tonight I was driving home from work sober and was starving so I thoughtmm kebab. I walked in the staff looked out out I wanted to eat, I ordered dinner and chicken kebeb which was accepted. The gent serving me went to complete my order and after making my naan was not happy we went to change or and then after speaking to another guy from office stopped changing the naan bread thrown new one back in warmer and continued with the original. I stood waiting for them tocook my chicken on the grill which is the usual. The gent serving me added salad and sauce to my burnt naan bread whilst he was doing this another gent walked out of the kitchen with and old margarine tub steaming basically out of microwave which he poured on to my burnt naan bread and walked away I could see from where I stood it was chicken clearly warmed up in microwave. My original server then wrapped ied it and gave to me. I would normally challenge and say where is my dinner meat and why the burnt naan but I was so in shock and not for the first time here I just smiled took the food walked out and place in bin around the couner. I am not one to complain ever however this is not the first time I have seen this here. To all the guys working here please please please stop presuming your customers are intoxicated and served then correctly and with good customer service. It's such a shame because this place...
Read moreFirst time here, I wanted the chippy but it was closed up the road, while looking for a cashpoint, my wife dropped in for a pizza. I forgot about my pudding, chips and peas with gravy, as my wife offered me to share the pizza, while waiting I shared the seafood pizza and added 3 large bargee and 3 large Pakora(?), and at the proprietor's suggestion sauces and more delicious salad. Good customer service and very pleasant. He even checked the pizza was done enough for us as he mistakenly thought we were in a rush, although my wife was desperate to eat. Well he put it back to continue to cook thoroughly the pizza, and I added a large portion of chips, oh yea I nearly forgot; we also had 2 cans of "Rio Tropical." deliciously cold on this warm muggy night. I was impressed that they were open till 1.30am next morning, great for the late night 🌙 takeaway, I notice he was taking delivery orders as we waited, even better! The bargee and I forget the name!? Thought it was Pakora( they were crispy round dark brown balls). I was particularly attracted by these because of their size, big! So good value for money all round, we enjoyed a feast. When we got home our son joined in too, there was enough for three easily, but I surprisingly managed to devour the large meal set before me, embellished with tasty mango, and red onions, parsley Mayonnaise, All for £18.10p, I thought was great value! I promised to return to Clayton Pizza shop again as I...
Read moreAn honest eatery. Really nice and filling Kebab of gargantuan proportions. I couldn't finish it, It was That Big! Fries were nice too. Delivery was fast and the food was still hot. The pot of Mango sauce fell during delivery and spoiled the Cheese Burger. They were more than apologetic and replaced it promptly. We aren't even close by but they didn't hesitate to do the right thing as opposed to referring us for a refund. Honestly guys, I'm really impressed and you've got a new lifetime customer. Peace n Love. BellyBusted and A Happyyyyy Me! Those who recognise my reviews will know I too am honest in my approach and wouldn't mark down any hard working and dedicated business....
