I went to Morrison's this evening to buy a set of knife, and the lady at the counter had to call an old woman to approve if im above the age of 18 before she could sell the item for me, The old woman asked me if i had my ID card and i told her i didn't have it on me. I tried within my effort to even show her i had a picture of my id on my phone but she still refused which i understood because a law is always a law no matter the circumstances. After a while the woman then told me to take off my nose mask soo that she could see my face before she could approve i can buy the set of knife and after i did that she still refused to sell it to me, My question is which rule of the law says in order to buy an object with a specific age the person needs to be checked by face before selling it? Why did they not insist of accepting ID no matter if the person is above or under age? This is absolutely an act of RACISM. U don't expect someone to tell you but actions speak louder than words and the management must sit the work personnel's and know how to treat the customers that come to the...

Read moreUsed to be twice the size, now it’s more of a large convenience store. Staff spend too much time chatting to people they know leaving people queuing longer than needed. They are not knowledgeable about the products they sell and if you ask them for something particular they usually respond with ‘err, don’t know’. The toilets next to the cafe are disgusting and don’t get checked every hour as stated on the chart they are supposed to check. I made a complaint to Morrisons about the unhygienic toilets as I have found cubicles with faeces covered brushes which a young child could pick up, no checks had been made on the toilets for over a day. I visited again a few days later and again the chart hadn’t been filled in. It seems that they sign it all at the end of the day in one go. Morrisons failed to respond to me, only to say they received my complaint. They are not interested in their customers and I really hope this store closes as...
