Today was the epitome of you get what you pay for. The service wasn't great, now I need to be clear that I don't think the servers were bad. The interaction I had with the waitress was great, she was lovely and helpful. When I got there I waited for a long time at the 'wait here to be seated' bit, before realising that 2 waitresses were doing everything on their own, so walked round into the food area and asked them if I could have a table. Once at the table, I was waiting another 10mins before my order was taken, and in the meantime another couple had been seated and their order taken before ours (they received their food before us too despite us being there 10-15mins before them). The food was good, lots of options (you could even choose how you want your eggs) and we were waiting too long for that. They also had an offer on where my 2 kids ate for free. So I only paid £9.99 for mine and the kids got their food free. So yes, I'm grumbling a little, not at the staff directly but the lack of staff which they obviously need during busy periods. But at the end of the day, I paid £9.99 for 3 breakfasts, I got what I paid for.

Lovely visit again today, me and my partner are here on a weekly basis and we love it. Really nice breakfast sometimes it is buffet and other times it is cooked to order (both are good) today was cooked to order and you choose how many of each item you would like which is nice as well because then your in control of your portion size. Myself, my partner and our youngest all really enjoyed the food today it was fab! They also have a little section for pastries and fruit salad, yoghurt and cereals etc that you can help yourself to as well as a coffee machine that you can have unlimited refills of (one of my fave bits) Special mention to Adrian who is very accommodating, always pleasant and has a chat with us.. great customer service and makes us feel welcome, thank you so much.

Went to beefeater in heaton park after a nice walk and Even though it looks small from the outside its a spacious restaurant from the inside, wide enough between tables and very bright. The staff were welcoming and let me and my friend sat were we wanted. I ordered a lasagne with a side of rice and sweet potatoes fries, and halloumi fries. The lasagne was amazing, hot, and very tasty. To be honest one of the bests i have ever ate. The rice was ok, and the potatoes were good too. The alloumi fries weren't very nice or chewy, was just dry so I didn't finish them. But apart from that i do recommend this place to everyone going around this area. Its worth it. Will be coming back :)

Title: Mother's Day Nightmare: A Catastrophic Dining Experience

Our Mother's Day celebration at this restaurant can only be described as a complete disaster from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that we were in for a regrettable experience.

To kick off our dismal evening, the staff provided only one set of menus for our entire table, completely neglecting to offer a drinks menu. When we attempted to order our beverages, they managed to bring the wrong drinks and conveniently forgot about my mum's order altogether. It was a baffling display of incompetence that set the tone for the rest of our meal.

The calamity continued when our starters arrived. Out of the three ordered, only one was correct, and when we pointed out the error, the woman serving us had the audacity to suggest that we had somehow specified the wrong dish. I find it hard to believe that ordering simple king prawns could be misconstrued as a prawn salad. The lack of accountability and professionalism was astounding.

Moving on to the main courses, the calamari was the sole highlight in an otherwise abysmal lineup. My prawns were not only half raw but also drowned in a barbecue sauce that tasted more like vinegar than anything else. The chicken goujons were hard and unappetizing, and the steaks were so overcooked that they resembled shoe leather.

To add insult to injury, my girlfriend's order of peppercorn sauce was an afterthought, arriving almost at the end of her meal. The lack of attention to detail and the overall disregard for customer satisfaction left us in disbelief.

As if the culinary catastrophe wasn't enough, the woman serving us displayed an unwarranted attitude, making the entire experience even more unpleasant. There was no reason for her altitude, and it only added to the overall sense of disappointment.

In conclusion, this Mother's Day excursion was an unmitigated disaster. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at this establishment to think twice and explore other options. This restaurant's lack of attention to detail, disregard for customer service, and overall incompetence make it a regrettable choice for any special occasion. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by...

Having used and using Premier Inns as my go to choice of hotels working away each each I’ve come to accept that I’m going to get a beefeater or equivalent, so have learnt not to expect al a carte style food. Having booked a meal deal with the room it is what it is. Walked in to the restaurant and greeted by a young girl at the podium and was told restaurant was fully booked, had she asked my name or room number then would have seen I had a table booked, subsequently I was seated in the bar area. Bar area full of loutish lads some of which I assumed worked there or still do ( one was serving at breakfast ) bar staff mostly young girls more interested in chatting and talking to them, quite often using foul language in an area where there was young children. Lads seemed to think they had the run of the place going behind the bar getting drinks, shouting and again more foul language in the bar area while shouting at the football on a full blast television, standing in the foyer smoking a-pose to the garden area as quests and myself were, subsequently the smell of cigarette smoke was present throughout the bar area. Upon ordering my evening meal, was told because I was on a meal deal I couldn’t have a Guinness, to which I pointed out I could but there was an additional charge and was told no, server then looked and didn’t apologies for the rudeness or mistake, same happened when I ordered my food, food came had to walk to the other side of the restaurant to obtain my own cutlery sauces and napkins as was no offer or even an inkling of receiving them, to which I noticed a staff member drinking a beer whilst working cooking food. Staff and what obviously seemed to be off duty staff were more interested in each other than the guests, talking about what they were doing after work, who’s getting the cannabis and beers. Total disregard for anyone else, rude and unprofessional, saw and heard many other guests show and express disappointment with there actions...

Really pricey for what you actually get. I had a Mediterranean mixed grill, advertised with a Greek salad, I got a few tomatoes and a couple of olives, 2 small lamb kofta, 2 small chicken skewers, half a flat bread, some rice and a couple of dips, that cost over £16! We were starving! (My partner ordered the same) so we decided to order some deserts. We read read the menu and picked what we wanted, the member of staff said "just to let you know, they are both made with dark chocolate, so is this, so is that and so is the other...." It turned out all the items with chocolate were made with dark chocolate, but no mention of it on the menu? It's seems like a complaint they get regularly because the member of staff was straight in there 'warning' us. So we picked something else, begrudgingly, we were that hungry though after the main so didn't have much choice, after 20 minutes waiting we were approached by a member of staff who said we'd ordered at the same time as a big table, so our deserts hadn't even been started, he said he could "rush" the kids deserts but we'd have to wait for ours....we declined and went to McDonald's! The food we got was ok, if it wasn't priced so high I wouldn't be left with such a bitter taste in my mouth over it, but £16/£17 for a couple of small skewers and some chopped tomatoes is ridiculous. And the mess they made with our deserts was the icing on the (presumably, dark chocolate...
