I booked a dome for afternoon tea for partners birthday. Food was delicious. I had the vegan option which was really well thought out rather than just dupes of the classic. We were served by Angel who was very polite, professional and helpful. Angel went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and extra as its been such a hot day. Angel made sure the children were kept hydrated. Thank you Angel

I went with my partner and my 2 daughters. My 8yr old daughter asked for fish goujons and chips. After waiting ages they came out burnt to a crisp and at a price of £6.50 for 3 tiny bits of fish and a few chips. I sent them back and got told by staff they are meant to look like that. They looked like they had been cooked with a blowtorch.

We had the Afternoon tea. More of a snack than an Afternoon tea. Basically 1 sandwich, a bite size sausage roll, half of a scotch egg, 1 scone and 3 small cakes. The brownie far too rich. Victoria sponge was not nice. The meringue was nice. After 30 minutes the person serving us took childs boat away and brought us a take a way box. It is ment to be 1 hour and 30 mins? The Dome itself was pretty with the view of the lake and swans etc. I paid £60 then you pay for drinks. When paying be careful as tried charging me for 3 Afternoon teas - when I only had 2. When questioned it altered it but then tried charging me for childs drink, which is included in the price. This was our first time here and if we had not had known (by reading on website) I would not have known that you pay for anything over £60. We booked on the day via online. When we got to the place we were told you had to book 24 hours before? It does not say this on the website. It was not the ' welcome ' we expected. We booked on the day to show our Autistic child the dome first to see if they would be happy to eat in there, as they like to see ( be prepared ) first and we did not want to book and have them not want to and cause an avoidable melt down. Once in the dome there is no way of getting the servers attention. Maybe a doorbell or something would be an idea. Then people could ring for service and be left in peace. Such a shame as was thinking of returning with mother - in law for her...

We came here last weekend. Walking near the cafe i said to my husband i wonder if dogs are allowed. A young lad who worked there, who i overheard his name henry, told us yes they do and we have highchairs for your little ones.. and told us a bit more about the cafe. Which made us want to come in and have breakfast. As we ate, i saw which i can only assume was the manager. A lady who kept coming standing outside like a bouncer. Being very patronising to henry and other staff. 'Do you think that needs sweeping henry, think about it' 'come on quickly lets move that dog bowl' her attitude was very disrespectful and belittling. And i found it ahrd to watch. I think whoever you are, that you want to be good at your job, but treat people repectfully. The way to keep your staff is for them tk be happy staff, they are who keep the buisiness going. Without them you sink. I went over to henry and said although your boss is very patronising i think your doing a great job and very polite. He said id made his day and needed to hear that. He seemed like a very sweet gentle person, he may be cleaning tables and oicking up rubbish but he deserves repect. If i visited again, it would be because he was...

Monday 17th June 5.30pm, terrible service, took my order for ice cream and milk shake after 20 mins of waiting, gave me ice-cream and then kept serving other people. I had to remind after 10 mins to make me shake that in ordered, the response from the lady" we are only two people and have to serve other people too and will get to your shake when we can. I had to remind lady to communicate upfront for any delays and don't expect people to just assume. Eventually was given a plastic glass of milk with strawberry syrup which I had to just leave and left. The boy helping lady had no clue how to serve either and almost had every other order wrong for other...
