I am writing to express my profound disgust and disappointment regarding the language and behaviour exhibited by William, the General Manager at McDonald's Manchester Fort. During a recent visit on 10/07/2024, I was subjected to an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism that I believe warrants immediate attention and reprimand.
The incident began when I was asked to pay extra for sauce while ordering a dipping option off the menu. Although I found this request surprising, I agreed to pay the additional 50p. It was at this point that the hostility from William began. His conduct was not only inappropriate but also highly offensive. The use of foul language and the disrespectful attitude displayed towards both customers and staff members are entirely unbecoming of someone in a managerial position. His staff members stated they were shocked by his behaviour. He then reverted to shoving multiple free sauces at me, further exacerbating the situation.
When I asked him for his name to report the complaint, he refused to give it to me, adding to the frustration and lack of accountability. This was later retrieved.
The public nature of this outburst only exacerbated the situation, making it clear that such behaviour is completely unacceptable and must be addressed immediately.
I strongly urge McDonald's to take swift and decisive action to address this issue. It is imperative that William be reprimanded appropriately so such behaviour is not repeated in the future.
Normally, your staff are wonderful and provide excellent service at Manchester Fort, which makes this incident all the more disappointing.

Read moreOrdered medium Wrap of the day meal with fries and Coke Zero using electronic service boards. Printer didn't work. Whilst waiting for food to be ready I was asked by the 'greeter' if I wanted to fill in a survey which would take 5 minutes but I declined as I needed to go wash my hands for personal hygiene reasons. The food was ready, and on a tray, when I came back into the restaurant, the fries were hot and salty, how I like them. The wrap was, as usual, nice but the coke zero was lacking in flavour, although it did have ice which is sometimes hit and miss across restaurants, also, the condiments were free to order on the digital board too, which is worth noting. It was around 6pm when I arrived, there were around a dozen people eating within the restaurant. On the way out the recycling receptacles were available, another option not always available across all restaurants it seems, so I disposed of my waste in the appropriate manner. The 'greeter' from earlier started asking some football fixture questions of me when I was at the exit. Man City were playing at home. I was also thanked for sorting my rubbish and I left. Overall the food was better than average, in both speed and temperature, the drink sadly lacking in flavour. The staff were pleasant and the tables were acceptably clean, also this restaurant didn't play classical background music, which is a bonus. Definitely a go to...
Read moreI have been here twice using the drive thru service and I was appalled by the workers and manager . Today on my second visit I thought ok let's try again since my 1st visit was appalling it may had been a one off. I came back for breakfast. ordering just a egg muffin meal at 10am.at this time on my arriving it was not that busy. They ask me to wait at the bay. After time had gone on , no one comes , 25mins of waiting I asked one of the staff passing by my car for another customer, how come other customers have come and gone before me and I am still left waiting and no acknowledgement .. first staff responds will have a look. Still waiting she dosent return. Another female comes out and I stopped her also and asked her , at this point I was really getting annoyed says she'll have a look but no remorse when I tell her I had waited for over half an hour and my little boy was upset at this point . I asked her for the manager she comes back after 10 15mins for another customers order .i was so angry and asked where is her manager she replies the manager said she is busy ..whatttt..!!??
