I've had 2 recent experiences with the "new digital only store". The first early morning with 2 tills in use and a empty shop.Till 1 was dealing with a customer service issue and was on the phone to a call center. till 2 was occupied by customers waiting for there goods to be brought out from the rear storage area. FYI the shop has(had) no collection points anymore and you wait at the till for your goods, tying up that till until your goods arrive and you leave. The store manager was pottering about so i quizzed him about the service and he jumped on one of the free 8 tills available and served me. This all took 10mins to get my reserved item. I can only imagine the ques when its busy at weekend. Since then i have noticed that one till has been converted to a collection area(going back to its roots) but no waiting area!!!! On my second try i ordered online using the fast track method but the fact that people at the fast track till still wait there its not so much fast track when its busy. Also i wasnt given a receipt and was told my email was my receipt but as of today i still havn't received a email so ihave to deal with customer services(OMG) for that and to top it all i didnt receive my £10 voucher for spending over £100. Read moreA spacious, clean store!!.. However I’m put off with the service I just received or should I say lack of service!!.. The store was not busy at all, just myself and 2 other people in the store.. I was struggling with trying to order two dolls from the same store.. There were 3 workers at the till, 2 ladies on a till each and a guy just stood there.. so I said I’m struggling and asked if they could help me with trying to order from the same store or if I ordered a home collection would I get it the same day her answer ‘I don’t know’ then she carried on talking to the other girl, so I went to ask again and she said rather impatiently ‘go and get me the catalogue number and I’ll check for you’ So I went back to the machine and figured it out myself!!.. Read moreMy husband waited with the rest in the queue. When it was his turn. He asked to view the item first to make sure about it before buying. But the person who served him who happened to be the manager told him to wait because there are other customers waiting. So disappointing that my husband patiently waited for his turn but when it's was his turn he was told to wait again🤔😡 so other customers will be served first because the manager's reason was he was only viewing the item when in fact we really wanted to buy it which we did buy in the end. What the manager did was so upsetting even the way she looked at us like we're not customers at all. She got more mad when my husband made a complaint regarding the matter.
