Parkview Pub — Restaurant in Manchester

Located just off Victoria Avenue, I visited here on my own when I first moved to Blackley recently and had a very warm welcome from Sandra on the bar! Her very bubbly personality made me feel right at home and could enjoy a nice chat and banter. Sandra also has extensive knowledge on what drinks to recommend and they are all reasonably priced! Managers Dan and Steve work really hard to make the place feel quirky and different and have worked very hard to make the beer garden a fun, but relaxing space. 😌 The beer is always on top form! Every Saturday night there is entertainment on, but I've not been to that yet, but heard it's a brilliant night from other regulars. There is also a really nice function room which is available for hire, and when I enquired on cost for this, it sounded incredibly reasonable. Overall, if you're looking for a decent pub with a bit of a difference, the Park View will not disappoint. Well done to such a fantastic team and thank you for your warm...

The place is disgusting and then to see the manager/landlord who robbed the last pub he was at the engine room in Ashton under lynne made me want to get sick. Was with friends and we had some food but had to send it back as like the other place he had again hair in the food and it has to be his wife as apparently she is cooking. The state they left the last pub and even the dirt of the kitchen i would certainly not be going here again. We had to go 4 days without a pub over that dirty family from Ireland. the place was crawling. She slaps makeup on to cover the dirt and how they all live together. I see they have the DJ who does alot more than DJ. no wonder there is a big young crowd going there. I will letting the brewery know they should contact the Engine room to get a reference check for the famous Steve...

A small group of us were looking for somewhere to get a few drinks and hide from the rain. All the staff (and locals) were chatty and friendly.

Wide range of drinks at decent prices. The pool table is in good nick too. Would pop in if in the area again, we had a laugh.

The kitchen was closed so they gave us some tips on where to get takeaway food in the area and didn't mind us eating it there (5 stars because they shouldn't get marked down for what should really be a "not applicable" option but Google won't let...
