There is a really wide array of music on the jukebox and if you don't like what other people are putting on the amazing thing about jukeboxes are that you if you put money in them you can choose your own music. My boyfriend and I always put good music on that other people like, Northern soul and Beatles/Stones, Reggae and more as well as newer stuff like arctic monkeys. Sometimes younger people put music on that the older people don't like so much too. It's a juke box!! And by the way, I am one of the newer more middle class people that has moved into Northenden recently to whom she refers. I had heard that the new landlord was trying to attract a different type of customer so my husband and i decided to give it a go. The pub is lovely and the selection of beers and wine are also really good. The clientelle likewise seemed fine but unfortunately the jukebox is a big problem. if you like 50's and 60's music (Jim Reeves etc) and really really loud then thats fine. Read moreThe interior is well designed and decorated with class and good taste. The look of dark wood with bright glasses, bottles and mirrors looks appealing.
I made use of their toilet facilities. They were clean and designed in good taste
The bar staff and clients are of good humour and were helpful and kind. I cannot speak for their variety of drinks as I did not have any.
