I was very disappointed with last nightâs experience at Bon Gusto. I am Italian and there was very little authenticity about the restaurant. No one spoke Italian, the chef apparently did but when I asked the waiter if I could chat to him he said later and then he went home, so we never got to see him.it took forever for the food to be served. The starter I had (calamari ripieni) was horrible, it was drowned in gravy, not very Italian at all! The main was ok but nothing special.    Read moreI'm not one who normally writes a review, but this is an exception. Bon Gusto is a fabulous little restaurant tucked away on Knowle high street. The food here is fabulous. We ate there last night and were absolutely amazed with the food we ordered, it was truly fantastic. We had a starter, main and dessert which we shared. This along with the house red we chose to drink and the service provided were excellent. There is a lovely ambiance to this restaurant too. We will definately be back here very soon.
