Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

I used live in sutton coldfield and was a regular customer at the costa at princess alices drive, retail park, who were very attentive and excellent customer services. I've just recently moved near the Solihull costa that is located in next store and I find some of the staff to be discriminative and disrespectful. I am referring to the two female staff. The blond haired and the red haired lady both caucasian. I felt that they attended more promptly to other customers and ignored me. When I asked for help such as having the table cleaned I was ignored on two occasions by the red haired lady, but she cleaned the table opposite to mine and ignored me this made me feel very uncomfortable and out of place as a muslim female, in the end I got up and cleaned the table myself and I noticed the red haired lady barista look over and laughed to her colleague. The mature blonde lady is very rude and always makes sarcastic remarks especially when they need to clean tables she will tell you to move out of the area, very rudely while you are eating or drinking, even if it's well before closing time, as though we are a burden. I feel very sad and disappointed, this behaviour has really knocked my self esteem. Sadly I will not be...

I went here with my family late afternoon on a saturday and it had probably been a very busy day so im trying to excuse the state of the place. But there was crockery left on the tables and the tables were sticky and there was food on the floor. My daughter had a teapot which leaked when she poured it and her cup had a chip on the rim. My mocha coffee didnt taste very nice tho i cant explain what was wrong, it just tasted weird. Finally two of us chose a cake each off the counter, not realising they had probably been on display all day because when we tried eating them they were obviously stale. We didnt complain, just ate and drank some of what we ordered and left. I'm sure the young girls behind the counter tried their best but perhaps they just...

Popped in for a coffee whilst visiting family. Ordered 2 latte's and I couldn't believe how dirty the coffee making machine was. Virtually every part of the machine was filthy and the 3 cups on the machine to catch the brewed coffee were disgusting. Each cup was covered in spilt coffee which had dried on the outside. Most baristas take pride in their machines keeping them clean even down to wiping the milk steamer after each and every use. There is obviously no pride in this outlet and the machine should be kept clean to keep everybody's health safe. It makes you wonder if the machine is not kept clean what other hygiene factors are overlooked!!

Would I go there again for coffee?...
