Marsin Bakers — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

This is my review for Marsin Bakery in Hockley Heath. Have been using Marsin Bakery pretty much every week for more than a year and thought it was about time to actually write something. First this is primarily a bakery rather than a café but it does have seating so to me it is very much a café. First, I love the coffee. Second, the bread is excellent and so are the toasties bagels and sandwiches. Third, Yep the pastries are just amazing – almond croissants are a firm favourite as are the tarts – particularly the raspberry topped one which they make on a Friday and Saturday. I guess you do pay a bit more compared to other places but then you easily get twice as much and 10 times the quality – a toastie or raspberry tart are easily enough for two – I think that it is the same for pretty much everything here. Just my opinion but overall this is probably one of the best bakeries in the country. I guess you would have to go into London to get something similar. i drive past this baker every day to work and eventually i decided to stop about 6 months ago and get a sandwich for lunch. i am a real foodie and most of the time all i think about is my next meal or something to eat. This bakery is without doubt the best i have ever been to incredible the croissants the cinnamon rolls, the beautiful sandwiches,cakes, pastries ,sausage rolls ,empanadas all artisan hand made incredible by the most skilful team led by an incredible french owner and food genius i would say. The sourdough the bake the flavour texture is amazing the baguettes and bagels amazing ! divine and delicious and worth every penny. this place is worth a visit even if you live miles away. Not only were the pastries super fresh and incredibly tasty, but the way they went above and beyond with the packaging honestly made my day. Everything looked so perfect and felt so carefully done.

I couldn’t resist grabbing some extra breads as they were coming straight out of the oven; warm, flavorful, and impossible to say no to. Plus, with all the beautiful pastries on display, it’s hard not to get tempted!
