The Rampant Horse Inn — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

The rudest waitress I have ever encountered. Apparently “that’s how she is, she isn’t actually rude, it just comes across that way! “ I would say that if that’s how she comes across then she is rude. So rude to one of my lunch party that she was almost in tears. Maybe they are modelling themselves on Fawlty Towers but it doesn’t work for me. I won’t go back and I suggest that my friends and family avoid it too. Lots of lovely places where the teams are friendly and happy to help in Needham or Stowmarket, so suggest you give it a wide birth. *booking was Sunday 22/01/22...

Are you a pub or a restaurant? You can't be both!! ... Good staff and good food.. No complaints.. But too many drunk no socially distanced persons at the bar.. Not a face mask in sight.. Made us very nervous all night. Both fire exits blocked with Xmas trees and locked..only exit had 30 drunk persons in the way. No ventilation.. All windows closed plus a fight for extra measure...not somewhere will will be going back too.....

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Friendly staff, nice drinks and fantastic meals. I'm a local who's transferred over from meeting friends at the Swan across the road. The prices are the same.at the Rampant Horse, and the atmosphere is brilliant, especially on a nice summer evening outside. It's friendly and not a surprise that people are happy to take their families...
