Nupur Tandoori — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

Ordered a takeaway Tarka Dall and meat samosa to supplement a family homemade meal. When we went to collect they had forgotten the order so we had to wait for it to be prepared. When we got home and the rest of the food was ready we found that we only had Tarka Dall and no samosas. Disappointed we ate our meal. Later the same evening we called to explain what happened and were told it was too late to get a refund. I ended up having to go back to the restaurant with the empty cartons and receipts. I was accused of swearing on the phone which was a complete lie! Then threatened with forceable removal from the building. They then said you want a refund here it is and threw a £10 note at me. Some very good cooking but experience ruined by exceptionally loud restaurant and waiting staff didn't seem to listen then bought the wrong items. They did however make an effort and were friendly, I think we were just unlucky with our timing (there were large groups). Edited: As of May 24, no longer serving alcohol, frustrating that they didn't mention it when I booked, I didn't feel very good walking off to Co-Op to fetch wine and beer.
