Was advised Sunday was a Buffet offering!

Starters arrived, small over-cooked and tasteless! When asked to re-order some different starters to try to see what the other selections were like we were advised you cannot order more starters - Apparently you can only order more of the main course with the precursor of if you have been a good boy and eaten all your courses first!!

Onto the next course, the duck course! The crispy shredded duck was "ok" however for some reason it was quite salty though??!

Onto the main course, I ordered the crispy beef as this restaurant seems to be ok at deep frying, it was ok but I decided to leave 1/2 to 3/4 as I wasn't enjoying it. My partner ordered the Lemon Chicken and she could only manage a few pieces. I can now see why the option they give is to re-order mains - who in the right mind would want to!!

I would say a 1 star rating is generous however on reflection it is probably fair. To say it was all bad is a tad unfair however I have never been to a Buffett where you cannot order more food!

I would like to recommend to the other reviewers that have been complimentary of this restaurant to go and try somewhere of a better standard as unless they work for the restaurant or something was drastically wrong on this occasion it's a shame they haven't experienced food of decent quality.

If you advertise a buffet, a buffet is what should be on offer and to aid support for a local business some free advice would be to focus on quality even if it costs the customers...

I don't normally leave reviews but felt I had to for this. This was the worst Chinese I've ever had. The chicken had no flavour and tasted like rubber, the noodles were already going stiff they had been left out so long (as if you left them out for a day to dry out) the beef was also flavourless and still cold in luke warm sauce so it must have been frozen before and reheated. The fact my order came within 15minutes would have been great if it wasn't another reason to show its just reheated frozen food. The food turned up a literal 12 minutes after we ordered the delivery, worringly quick. The chicken on all three chicken dishes was like a translucent jelly you'd struggle to identify as chicken. The crispy beef has only the tiniest traces of beef in it easily the lowest meat content of any such dish I've ever had. The rice was like astroturf.

We threw almost all of the meal away. All in all the worst Chinese we've had in East Grinstead, or anywhere else....
