Great Gelato — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

The members of staff at both Newton lets and stony Stratford are so so so lovely, however the owner (Ethan) is a shallow individual with zero respect for anyone, he blames everyone else for his problems a and treats customers and staff horribly and blames them for his poor business investments, he is rude and claims he serves authentic gelato but as an Italian myself there is no authenticity there. Do better Ethan and learn some manners. Thank you.

I am editing my review Ethan as I cannot reply to your message directly, this you will find is exactly the most appropriate place for this as I am reviewing your business, yes you may call me by my name I don’t expect you to refer to me as anything else, you as the owner of the business are the face of the business the person everyone will know as the person in-charge, therefore your actions and how you choose to conduct yourself and treat others reflect on your business and highlight to me that I do not want to buy from a business that treats people the way you do, I hope you understand this and that I am simply telling others my experience and opinions on the shop, as I am entitled to do so. As for your “who are you?” Question I am simply a father and member of Milton Keynes and In doing so I will call out those businesses that do not treat people with kindness or use their business or platform for good....

I love The Great Gelato! The food is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I've been watching them grow since they first opened, and I think they're a perfect addition to Stony Stratford—just what we needed. Having Italian family myself, it's wonderful to see a little piece of Italy right here in town.

Now, you might be wondering why I only gave them four stars. The reason is simple: I wish they were open later. They usually close by 5 p.m., which can be inconvenient for those of us whose days don't wind down until 3 or 4 p.m. By the time I've gotten home, changed, taken a shower, or even done the school run, The Great Gelato is already closed. Many of my friends and family feel the same way—it would be great if they could stay open a bit longer.

That said, I'm even considering applying for a job here because I love the place so much. The staff always seem happy, and I'd love to be a part of their team. Not really impressed to be honest.. continuous advertisement in social media about availability and opening hours yet things do not apply in reality. Waited outside with my baby for them to open at 11 as advertised. The employee with very slow movements looking completely uninterested on being there to service clients, taking her sweet (gelato) time, opened the store 11:23. Patiently waiting for her to set up I asked when could I enter and get some gelato. Looking utterly bored to do this job she said that I would have to wait at least an hour do as to get the ice cream "Defrosted".....?? Naturally I left, regreting the time I had spent waiting, and honestly after this day I won't be bothering again - seeing the representative of this business so unwilling to help.
