The Bull and Butcher — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Came here on the off chance they were still serving food, after a day at Bletchley Park. There were four of us three had the three different flatbread options all were delicious. £1 to add chips to the order which we did with two. The portion size for the chips was more than enough for the three of us. The fourth had just a dessert which looked delicious, they asked for an additional scoop of ice cream well after the kitchen closed, but there was no problem with the request being granted. Demi was friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, providing service that was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The only reason I marked it down for atmosphere was because at 8.30 pm on an extremely hot Tuesday evening there were not many people in. Great English pub serving traditional pub grub. Friendly staff.. Plenty of screens to watch the football or rugby. Friendly staff. The pub hosts a live band some weekends which are free to watch. Been a couple of times now and it's a nice little pub. There is plenty of seating at the rear of the pub which is cosier than the front bar which can be a little to bright. My only moan is that the smokers area is not vented enough and some smokers tend to stand right by the door facing inwards, the smoke wafts in which can be very unpleasent for those who don't smoke. Now for the food….. numerous roast dinners were had and I must say…. The food was spectacular, the gravy was delicious (and yes I had a whole gravy boat as shots)…. So stuffed I had to be rolled and carried home…. Thank for an amazing day…..
