I stumbled upon Aldag Charity Cups & Co during my first visit to Dorking, and what a delightful find it was! Walking down the High Street, my hunger led me to explore a random cafe, and I'm so glad I did. The charming appearance of the cafe caught my eye, and little did I know, it had a heartwarming mission of employing individuals with learning difficulties/disabilities. Although I'm quite particular about food, I decided to give it a try, and I must say, I wasn't disappointed. The flavors were on point, and even my discerning taste buds were won over. The standout for me was the sorbet, a burst of amazing flavors that left me wishing for a bigger serving – it was that good! The staff at Aldag Charity Cups & Co were not only well presented but also incredibly polite. The lady who seemed to be overseeing things was exceptionally sweet and attentive, making the dining experience all the more pleasant. The sincerity of the staff and the positive atmosphere they created added to the overall appeal of the cafe. If fate brings me back to the area, there's no doubt I'd make a return visit to Aldag Charity Cups & Co. It would be for that irresistible sorbet and a refreshing iced coffee. This cafe is a true gem, not just for its culinary offerings but for the positive impact it makes in the community.

What a find!! As soon as you walk in their’s such a warm welcome from the employees. I think it’s fantastic having a cafe in Dorking that’s giving people with learning disabilities the opportunity to work in the community. The service was amazing and the food delicious! I’m looking forward to going back and working my way through the menu! Compared to other cafes in Dorking it’s very reasonably priced. They also sell cards in there that are hand made by people who go to the grange. Our server called Guy was exceptionally helpful, polite and chatty. It really does make a difference getting a service with a smile! Another plus… it’s dog friendly! Can’t wait to go back.

Delightful find when visiting Dorking. Very light and airy cafe with good access for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc and enough space inside for them. Delicious soup and roll, with the option of having the roll warmed. Since I had only ordered a soup I received a complimentary glass of tap water. Cafe is staffed by young people with learning difficulties. I would definitely return when next in Dorking

This is a charity that does wonderful things to offer training and employment to adults with learning difficulties, so that should already be the draw to spending your money, especially over tax evading megacorp S*arbucks.

Irrespective of the excellent credentials, this brand new cafe is bright, airy and inviting. It’s cleaner and more hygienic than chain competitors. Prices are fair and very competitive with the large chains, a great selection of freshly made drinks and baked goods are on offer, and the coffee is really delicious. But the best thing about this café is the service, I was left smiling and happy with the cheerfulness and camaraderie behind the counter, and that’s something money can’t buy.

Please choose to support this wonderful charity and spend your hard earned pennies in here, you...
