It's very rare that you can go to a restaurant and be completely 100% happy with everything as generally there's usually something that can be improved on without wanting to be unduly critical. That was our genuine experience at Turkuaz though. We were 100% satisfied with everything from start to finish. The staff are so organised and efficient but polite and friendly too. The decor in the restaurant is flawless and the food is absolutely excellent! We had the chicken Beyti which was delicious. There is a great selection of beers and wines and a good selection of alternative drinks for those who don't drink alcoholic drinks as well. The dessert that we had was lovely too. The toilets are impeccably clean and in excellent condition and order. The music is sophisticated and chilled as well. Turkuaz is like fine dining but without the price tag as the meals are excellent value for money. We would come back here again without any hesitation...

Excellent food and drink.

I went with my family and we ordered a range of food, including the calamari, garlic tiger prawns, mitite kofte, mixed grilled meat, charcoal lamb chops, kleptico and assortment of dips. Everyone had high praise for their own dishes (I personally can't comment as I'm veggie and they all had meat mains), saying the meat was tender, tasty, and the portions were generous. I had the calamari starter, which was cooked perfectly (not too rubbery, chewy or dry) and had a great seasoned batter. The prawn main was gorgeous - a good amount of prawns which had great garlic flavour, were also perfectly cooked, and even the chips were really tasty.

Can't recall which wines we ordered, but we had a red and a white Turkish wine which paired well and I really enjoyed. All in all a fantastic meal, and the staff were both friendly and helpful...

Visited Turkuaz with my partner for Valentine’s Day as it is her favourite cuisine (only due to me not having truly experienced it until today) and had a very enjoyable evening fuelled by very high quality food. The waitress was very knowledgeable on the allergens and the menu was very suitable for dairy free and gluten free requirements. We started with a range of cold and hot meze which were all outstanding including cacik and sucuk which were both incredible. I enjoyed a very flavourful lamb shank whereas my partner had what she described as “the best steak she’d ever had” which I also thought was considerably tender despite being on the rarer side than I’d usually aim for. We also decided to take away some baklava that we could enjoy when we returned home. We will most definitely be visiting this restaurant...

Lovely Mediterranean Spot with a Few Sweet Missteps Very nice Mediterranean restaurant. The interior was thoughtfully designed—modern, cosy, and inviting. It created a great atmosphere for the evening. The main courses were easily 5 out of 5—both in presentation and flavour. Clearly made fresh and with care. No complaints there at all. The desserts, unfortunately, let things down. We tried the baklava and the tiramisu. The baklava was overly sweet, a bit dry, and didn’t taste particularly fresh. As for the tiramisu—same story. Lacked that freshness and creaminess you’d expect. In hindsight, probably shouldn’t have ordered tiramisu at a non-Italian place, so fair enough. All in all, I’d still recommend the restaurant. Great food and ambience—just steer clear of the dessert menu, or at least those two.

As soon as we got to the door, the lovely staff opened the door for us and showed us to our table. Very friendly and smiley. It was a lovely welcome! We ordered food and drinks, both came promptly. The mezze platter was amazing! Such lovely flavoursome bits to share. The chicken shish was divine! Full of flavour, juicy and the rice was so good. My friend loved the mixed grill. We asked for the bill and a plate of baklava and tea appeared. The baklava was soooo good! Not too sweet. The tea was a lovely way to end the meal. Highly recommend Turkuaz. Lovely staff, great food!
