Adam’s cafe — Restaurant in New Forest

Absolutely terrible. The food was not bad or was the lady who took our order. The chef however was a different story!! We had to wait forever for our food and when it did finally arrive all of our orders were wrong but the worst thing was that one of our party ordered a special breakfast and when that arrived it was something completely different so when he said that it wasn’t what he ordered he was told that the chef could not do anything about it and that he will have to have it anyway. Of course he didn’t have it but surely they could have just redone to the order he wanted but no that wasn’t possible so he had to leave hungry. Also we felt really bad for the young lad that was bringing the food out as he seemed to be taking the abuse from the chef for his own mistake. Never have we ever been to a food establishment that has got an order completely wrong and not be willing to correct it. Also it is very pricey compared to similar cafes in the area. We will definitely not...

Totally disappointed ☹ didn't even get a chance to have breakfast as no tables free for 2 people, even though there were spaces but occupied by one person.

we counted 6 spaces that were free but one person at each table, we stood inside door way and not one member of staff approached us!

After 2 minutes waiting like a spare part, We left, which was a shame as last time we attended this cafe it was not a bad breakfast that's why we returned there.

There was 4 other people turn up and done exactly the same, walked off.

told us to try be be's cafe round the corner which was alot more accommodating, friendly staff, that went out of their way to make tables available for us and the other 4 people.

We Won't be returning to Adam's cafe.

We get it the cafe can get busy but the seating needs sorting out or just a member of staff saying can you wait 5 mins or so for a table but, NO to be totally ignored.

Adams Cafe is relatively new in Hythe. Since discovering it I have made several visits with friends and relatives. In itself, this a strong recommendation. Adam is the owner and he has a habit of greeting every customer personally as they arrive. He has a very attentive and courteous staff who, between all their other duties, will visit your table to see if they can help further, but they are not intrusive. Adam has a very wide menu offering a variety of breakfasts, light meals, lunches, snacks, treats, drinks etc. Every meal is properly cooked and served. Prices are very fair and good value. The tables are well spaced and the cafe is often busy but never feels crowded. There is also outdoor seating if preferred. Parking is immmediately outside and usually plentiful and free!!!!.
