I completely disagree with Carole Gibbs review. I visited yesterday and the service I received was nothing short of brilliant.

The staff were all polite, acknowledged me on entering and the service was perfect.

This is a little gem of a cafe and I will definitely return. Tne food was delicious, I ordered the sun blush toasties and vegan cakes. All were lovely and good value. The selection of teas and coffees were great and there is a great vibe inside. Plus it's so much larger than it looks outside. I love tne decor.

But it was the staff that make this place special.

This cafe has only been open a short while but this place is soon going to be a go to place in lyndhurst. Its special and i now won't be going anywhere else...

What a great find! The craft beers on tap are brilliant—honestly, the best beer we’ve found in The New Forest, and I’ve spent many years sampling. The building itself is an old gem that has been tastefully refurbished, blending historic charm with modern comfort. The interior is beautifully decorated, but we couldn’t resist sitting in the large secluded garden, which is also beautifully designed and planted. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the decor is stunning. This place truly made our visit to Lyndhurst special. I’m thrilled to have discovered this gem. We’ll definitely be back for the beer and to try the fabulous-looking pizza next time we visit! Just what Lyndhurst has been crying out for—can’t...

Great place to eat for Brunch. I had The Mett, which I can tell you….is probably the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I enjoyed it so much, we had to compliment the team personally. The menu here was varied and great quality. One thing I think this place could do better, is to help the passers by to know how much fantastic seating there is, inside and out. We had thought the little table on the front was it, but we went down the alleyway to discover oodles of seating, good shade, some sunny seats if that’s your thing, plus a maze of indoor seating. If you are nearby, peckish and want a real treat…drop in for a Mett sandwich…thank...

Lyndhurst already has plenty of tea rooms and cafes, but it's nice to have somewhere that does a great breakfast AND good coffee. As the building is a decent size and has a garden section, there is often space, which many of the other cafes lack. The portion sizes are good and all the food we've had so far has been tasty, I recommend the open wraps and hash brown bites (even better loaded). The coffee here ranks #3 on my list in Lyndhurst, but the other places above this don't do as good of a breakfast. I do hope it stays, worth the effort walking that bit further down the high street.

We ate here twice, once for a light lunch and also dinner. Lunch was lovely, we only had sandwiches but they were lovely. My fish fingers in a toasted brioche bun was really good. Husband enjoyed his BLT. Good craft ale here too. We visited the next evening for dinner and luckily for us it was Thursday which meant pizza and a beer offer. Pizzas were really tasty, sourdough bases and various toppings. Staff were really friendly too, we really enjoyed it on both occasions. Great space inside and out the back, it's like a tardis and blends old and new really well.
