Pallets Tea and Coffee House — Restaurant in New Forest

I've been coming to Pallets for years for a quick coffee in the middle of bike rides, and it's always been great. My mum and brother were visiting and I decided to take them to sit in the garden here and have some food.

Everything was amazing! The coffee was so good, some of the best I've ever had - so much so that I ended up buying a bag to take home. My mum had the cinnamon swirl, which is her favourite pastry, and she said it's like nothing she's tasted before. I had millionaire's shortbread, which was also delicious - the caramel layer had a lovely, fudge-like texture that I really enjoyed. My brother had the caesar salad, and despite being notoriously hard to please, also raved about it!

What a delight. Food was great - service was amazing. Staff were So friendly and very accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. And I was so happy that that it was still there, as I went with my family in 2019 when we were staying in the area - and it hadn’t changed, well not a lot. Will be back.

We had toasties - absolutely loaded. And you can do half and half if you can’t make your decision!

My grandson and I played connect 4 whilst waiting for our food - which didn’t take long anyway. They had quite a few games that you could play.

We dropped into Pallets whilst mooching around Beaulieu and we’re attracted by a sign which said they were happy to answer questions about coffee making skills.

We spoke to a lovely young lady who was clearly very enthusiastic and passionate about coffee and she spent 10-15 mins with us demonstrating how to use the steam wand to make perfect milk for a cappuccino. She also offered to help us by answering questions either by phone or by email, and have offered coffee workshops in the past.
