We were impressed with the courtyard, so big and bright. We decided to have our lunch outside although it was raining because we really enjoyed it. The service was very good, we had a warm welcome and the sandwich was very nice served on a wooden platter and a beautiful paper which was very nice. The restaurant looks great from the outside and inside, plenty of space and lots of tables. Very pretty decoration and different ambience depending on where you feel better. It is a very recommended visit if you are in Lymington.

‘Ryan was fabulous’ - is that correct Ryan? Was that what I was supposed to write? Only kidding 😁. We had a fabulous dining experience on Friday evening. This was because from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Ryan was brilliant. He was friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared about our experience. Plus, the food was excellent. I had the mussels followed by the monkfish curry - Outstanding food. If we lived closer it would be a weekly regular. Well worth a visit.

Really great food, ale and an extensive gin list. Log fire, well kept beer garden. Bier fest, event nights. Definately worth visiting. Is not part of a chain. Closed Monday's.

Booked for a table of six on a busy Saturday night. The food was very good! The scallops starter was exceptional. Main courses were good but the Bass was very slightly over done. Desserts were also very good. The only criticism was the initial slow service. It took over ten minutes for our drinks order to be taken. Luckily we had been in the bar before the meal and took our drinks into the restaurant. The food service was also a tad slow but to be honest we were not bothered. I should imagine other guests might take issue. Staff deducted the coffees from the bill in recognition of the slow service which was a nice gesture. All in all, a lovely meal in a buzzing environment. We definitely will...

Generally a really nice experience. Very attractive and friendly waiting staff. The Sunday menu sounded interesting and was a good portion, and all fresh, but ultimately a bit "hollow". The pomegranate and chicken salad I had was beautifully presented but not noticeably better than combining two cartons of meal deal salad from Tesco - which can be seen as a compliment to Tesco as much as a failing of the kitchen to inject something spectacular into the ingredients. We were a large party however and everyone else who had the Sunday roast / nut roast left completely satisfied, so mine was a minor taste anomaly among an experience that was very...

We came here for a birthday celebration at Sunday lunchtime. We were a large mixed generation group. The staff were exceptionally good, really friendly and very relaxed, attentive without being in the way, and it was like nothing was too much trouble. The food was great...I had the road beef which was really great. As such a large group we were sat at the end of the room. This was great as we were still in the main restaurant but weren't going to disturb everyone else. So a great lunch was had by all, in a great, unpretentious restaurant, plus it's...
