I don’t normally leave reviews but felt I needed to in this case. Whilst the chicken itself was good quality breast, the actual Indian dishes were somewhat bland and mediocre unfortunately. The tandoori dish I ordered was served on a normal plate, not a hot sizzling grill plate and the madras dish was more like a slightly spicy soup with chicken chunks in. I accept this blandness may be tailored to the Southwell audience, but I certainly prefer my usual Mansfield and Newark restaurants where the price feels justified and the dishes are much better quality - strange considering the good reviews. I have since worked in many countries around the world and sampled many a good Currie from the San Fransisco, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, HongKong and Singapore to name a few. When it comes to value for money, flavor, taste and quality its up there in my top . My mouth waters just thinking about that counter display when I first walk into the Restaurant.
I am at a present in Shanghai, back in a couple of months though, keep up the great work...
