"I recently ordered from Pinaki and was truly impressed by both the food and the service. Even though I wasn’t feeling well, the manager took the time to recommend some dishes that would be comforting, especially for someone with a South Indian background like mine. I tried the Karam Idli and Dosa, and they were just what I needed. The sambar and chutneys were fantastic, but the ginger chutney (Allam Pachadi) was the highlight—classic Andhra style.
It’s a rarity to find authentic South Indian flavors in this area, and this place nails it. The food was fresh, vegetarian-friendly, and I could tell care went into every dish.
Congratulations to the team on opening this restaurant just two months ago—I wish you great success, and I’m already looking forward to dining in soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for bringing a taste of South India here. Highly recommend!"

I just had to write this because, wow — I ordered the Upma from Pinaki, I know, Upma is just a basic South Indian breakfast. But that’s the thing — when a restaurant nails the basics like Upma, sambar, and chutneys, you know you're in the presence of something special.
The quality here never ceases to amaze me. The Upma was absolutely beautiful — comforting, flavorful, and made with such care. The ghee used for tempering was rich and aromatic, and those cashew nuts? Toasted just right. Even the rava was of such good quality — light, non-sticky, and had that perfect texture.
It’s a simple meal, but it hit all the right notes. I never thought I'd crave Upma until I left my home, but now I do — and Pinaki delivers it just right. The finely chopped green chillies, the curry leaves, the chana dal, a hint of urad and moong dal, and even the finely chopped onions — every element was on point. And with the allam chutney (ginger chutney), it’s just divine.
Also, shoutout to their eco-friendly package box. When the food and the thought behind it are both so right, you know the team cares.
To the chef who made this: you are blessed. Hands of gold. Thank you for what you do. Everyone needs to try the Upma here — it’s comfort food...
Read moreHad a wonderful dinner at the restaurant and got a chance to meet the wonderful people running the place. Keeping apart the fact that the place is in progress, infrastructure wise, the team has done a splendid job in delivering the true essence of authentic indian restaurant. Being a South Indian myself, all the dishes I tried today including, Thattu Idli, Plain dosa, Vada paav and Chicken fry piece biriyani (please dont judge me based on the number of dishes ordered, I had my partner with me as well) were just top class. The service offered at the restaurant is excellent and I should not forget the way the staff are happy and ready to explain about the delicacies. The price of the dishes are affordable and reasonable at the moment which may or may not change at some point in the future. Of all the wonderful part of the dining experience, the only slightly upsetting thing was the price of the Ginger Chai, which was wonderful though. I felt it was a bit overpriced which I even mentioned to the staff. I hope Pinaki team keeps the spirit of Authentic South Indian food flaming hot and I truly wish them success as it is extremely hard to find true Indian food...
Read moreWe had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty and truly brought out the authentic flavors of Andhra cuisine. The highlight was the muddha pappu with avakkai- full of nostalgia and authentic taste.
The variety of biryanis was also outstanding. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, rich aroma, and perfect balance of spices—something you don’t find everywhere. It really felt like every dish was prepared with care and authenticity.
The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. Their warmth added so much to our overall dining experience.
We’re from the West Midlands, but every time we visit Newcastle, this place will be on the top of our list without a doubt. We haven’t been able to find this kind of authentic Andhra taste in the West Midlands, so it truly feels like Andhra has been brought alive here in Newcastle.”
Overall, we left very happy and satisfied, both with the food and the service. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic South...
