It houses (amongst other things) the popular but arguably horrific Shoe Tree plus Heaton Victoria Bowling Green. Don't forget there are three tennis courts (now available via an online booking system only), two basketball courts and a simple outdoor gym area. All are well maintained. Whilst I hate 'em: dogs are a definite favourite around the joint. If you attempt to walk through after dark it's potentially pitch black, like totally in places. It's the beginning of Autumn as I write this and the changing colours of the trees is awesome. It's an absolute pleasure to look out of my windows.
