Google maps shows two parks adjoining each other, but there's only one. I can't give this more than 2 stars because whilst it does have a children's play area, most of the park has just been left empty allowing the grass to grow. There really need to be some benches here so you can sit and relax, and they could do with creating some sporting facilities. There is a little bit of woodland at the southern end with a path running through it and several sculptures...
Read moreI used to live in this area when I was a child and the park itself had three football pitches which were all in good working order. Now fast forward 30 years, i've taken my 14yr old son there for a kickabout and there was only 1 pitch and it was in bad condition. Most of the field, the grass was far too overgrown to play football and some of the outskirts of the field it was hard to even walk....
