Seriously, just drive that bit further and go to Newport road or order from the Starbucks in Newport centre.
I've had problems with the drinks tasting awful and half the stuff is usually out of stock but tonight's experience has confirmed I won't be returning to this Starbucks.
Last time I complained in store because my drink I'd paid over £5 for, tasted like ice. No flavour. And the girl at the counter literally told me "we all make it different" what? At a chain? Where you're literally taught how to make the drinks?
I rarely leave reviews but even the Deliveroo drivers told me too! I placed an order via Deliveroo and Starbucks sent 2/4 items. Starbucks didn't answer any of my 7 calls. I could tell this wasn't Deliveroos issue but I had to go through them anyway and enter a live chat. Deliveroo were lovely and sent out for the other 2 items to be delivered free of charge.
When they arrived... Only 1/2 items. This time I even showed the driver so that they could see for proof that I wasn't lying and she responded "whilst I was waiting the staff were chatting and not really paying attention and I thought maybe she'd put both items in the one bag but I should've asked" I felt awful for her because it wasn't her fault. Again, called Starbucks twice, no answer. The deliveroo driver put me through to Deliveroo and they solved my issue by refunding me.

The store looked very busy when going in which is a good sign, however the store was so busy because everyone was waiting for their drinks. It seemed that only one member of their staff had any experience. After waiting 30 minutes for the drinks we only received half the order. We were told the other drinks were on their way, however it was 15 minutes with us waiting at the counter checking up every few minutes. The rest of us had already drank our (cold) drinks. This store has great potential but has opened too soon. The staff (who are all friendly) need to have experience in other branches first to see how they should be working. Each order made when it is ordered before accepting another order, and handing out each order together, not splitting 3 drinks into separate orders. Read moreDecided to use the app and drive thru to order we arrived and went to the window where we waited almost ten minutes for 1 drink and 2 toasties - they certainly weren’t overly busy as there was one car in front of us when we arrived (albeit inside could’ve been extremely busy I suppose at this point) we parked up and then my passenger decided he in fact wanted a drink, save driving back around he physically went into store where no it wasn’t busy- he ordered his drink and specifically said no cream however the barista making the drink put cream on the drink, once they remembered there was actually no cream just scooped the cream off and topped it up to hide where the cream sat!
