Doc's Fish & Chips, Ardglass — Restaurant in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

I ordered a burger and scampi the burger was slightly overcooked but still nice although I believe that you could get better from McDonald’s for £5 and the scampi was nice with salad and a tub of tartar sauce was very good this came to just over £10 and I then said after I had paid I’d like to eat inside then they said it would be a different price to eat in they then said it would be £8 more to eat inside rather than a takeout. Let me make this clear this establishment is not a restaurant it is a quick fish and chip shop with a small seating area nothing more. Why Would any sane person pay £8 more to for some extra peas on the plate and sit next to a chippy counter. Best Fish & Chips - As someone who worked alongside Google I know how important 5* reviews are for a local business. I rarely leave bad reviews as this could potentially harm a business.

When going for a day trip I have used them a couple of times so I ordered a cheese burger with relish and a chip, went off to eat it and found no cheese and the amount of relish so small it was very poor, the chips were mostly small hard bits you build over time in the fryer and should be cleaned out of the fryer regularly but they choose to fill the bag of chips with these, just poor quality and expensive so won’t use again, there is a far better chip shop in Crossgar so when out for a day trip in future will stop off...
