I have to say that the Church was a disappointment overall. The service was poor, we waited ages approx 35 mins for the food to arrive, not ideal with two hungry children and the meal was a real let down. The deluxe burger and the fish and chips were fine but the veggie burger was a strange concoction of what appeared to be the texture of potato (something close to Smash) and little else. No wonder my wife said it was the worst veggie burger she'd eaten in 30 years. The cheesy linguine had clearly been made first and was left to sit while the rest of the meal was prepared and had congealed into a gloopy mess by the time it was served. It was such a shame as the location and the outdoor dining facilities were top class but either the chef was having an off day or they were running out of ingredients. They also had run out of Mayonnaise before we arrived. It's a true shame as we loved virtually everything else we visited in Rostrevor.

What a lovely cafe with delicious food and coffee in a converted church! I needed coffee and the latte was a smooth, creamy pick-me-up! We split a bowl of the most amazing seafood chowder - savory, creamy, and brimful of big chunks of salmon and fish with a slice of wheaten bread. The warm goat cheese salad was delicious with grilled potatoes and mixed greens dressed with a light and slightly sweet vinaigrette. The smashburger with bacon and cheddar was really tasty! Definitely would go back there. Service was friendly. Interesting and pretty atmosphere.

Fantastic restaurant. The owners have done a superb job at respectfully restoring this 1900's Methodist Church into what is becoming a popular social spot for locals. They are very accommodating for large groups with a swift service and fairly priced menu. The food is great and the service is excellent. Make sure and ask for the 'laughing yoga' waitress!!! You're sure to have a giggle!!

Oh dear, war time rations are alive and well with the portions here but the price wasn't, my wife and I firstly ordered a prawn dish ,which was listed on the menu , but "they ran out yesterday " , so we then ordered two scampi with salad and fries, the little teenager who took our order said do we want the starter version of this dish or the larger meal version, we opted for the larger version, eventually the bored teenager arrived with the starter version there were 7 piecesof small scampi, about half a handful of skinny fries, we were hungry so we had it as we were in a rush at this stage, thinking the bored teenager wrote the starter version down , my wife went up to pay for the dismal meal to be charged 18 pounds each for the 2 starter sized meals , I never complain about something unless it really gets to me , but this did , next time we shall go to the schoolhouse up the other side of the village, we are local to the area and I'm afraid that we won't be back , it's a pity because it's a lovely setting to pull up on our motorcycle and people watch and relax , I had kidney stones removed 2 weeks before, and I'd sooner put up with the pain of that compared to visiting this graveyard of a place...

First visit. I ordered the mini fry. My partner the French toast. The mini fry was slightly over cooked with the bread decidedly hard on the edges and the sausages didn't fair much better. Mini was a good description in that there was 2 sausages (1 extra as I don't like bacon) 1 small slice of potato bread and 1 small soda bread with an egg and separate beans this was a plus as I personally don't like egg and beans on the same plate (beans served 3 minutes later in a separate pot). The accompanying cappuccino was awesome and a great size. šŸ‘ price Ā£10 a little pricey I thought. My partners French toast was lovely though with plenty of maple syrup šŸ˜‹ price Ā£10.10. Total Ā£20.10 which is about Ā£5 more expensive than our normal local cafe who's quality would also be better all round. I gave it 4 out of 5 because the surroundings and vibe was excellent as was the attention from I assume the owner. The young lad who brought our drinks was a gem. A great way about him. In summary a really nice little cafe which could be top end if it ironed out thw quality issues which may have been a one off at the...

I came here over the weekend for lunch. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The menu is limited, apart from some hamburgers, fried food, salads, and sandwiches there wasn’t a lot of opportunity to showcase local produce. I was surprised for a restaurant based so close to the sea that the only fish dishes were fish and chips or scampi - both fried. Additionally, the region is famous for lamb, it was a bit underwhelming watching generic pub grub take over (and such a lovely restaurant with so much potential to go that step further). Additionally, they didn’t have any indication of dishes containing gluten, lactose, nuts etc so our waitress had to go back and forth to the kitchen. What can be improved, however, is the service. The floor staff are quite juvenile and quite slow - nothing that cannot be improved with some training (this is down to poor management). Although we arrived slightly before lunch at 12:45 we didn’t leave until 15:30 as the service was just inefficient. However, I understand this place is under new management and I look forward to returning in the future to see how it...
