My first time at Rachel's. I decided to indulge a bit and started off with a Cornish pasty. It was a very good Cornish pasty! I think even a Cornish person wouldn't have reason to complain! Next up I had the coronation chicken sandwich. Again, it was delicious and very satisfying. I then decided to finish up with a cream tea, which unfortunately was not up to par with the previous two dishes. The helping of cream and jam was fine, plenty to cover both sides of the scone adequately. The issue I had was with the scone itself; it was a bit dry (could have been old) and for a fruit scone, it didn't have much fruit. It was perfectly edible, just not as enjoyable as I would have liked. The staff were friendly and kind, and the environment was fine. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and will be visiting again...

Where do I start ? From the moment you walk in you feel like your sat with friends and family. The ambience is second too none with endless eye catching cakes all around to keep you busy. For me and my wife we had a what I thought would be a generic nachos But no what was served too us was hands down the best nachos we have had in Devon . So 10/10 ladies, added on top we took away two very delicious slabs of cake , the portions was huge and a lovely uncut loaf of farmhouse bread and it was all reasonably priced . Very Very happy customers …. I would recommend this venue its to anyone and what’s more refreshing was the price , especially in today ever increasing market …… 10 out of 10……. See...

Nice place. Small dining area which was a little tricky with three adults and 2 children, one of which needed a high chair. Got a little cramped and felt like we were in the way a bit because of how it's set out to fit as many tables in as possible. Not a huge amount of variety with food, but fine for a light lunch or coffee and cake. What we did have was nice but one drink was never brought to the table and the tuna and coleslaw jacket potato didn't come with any coleslaw. Had to tell them at the till as we were still going to be charged for the missing items but they took them off and apologised so wasn't a real issue. Prices were quite reasonable and the staff...

Rachaels tearoom and bakery is a must for anyone visiting South Molton! From pastries and cakes to breakfasts and lunches, they do it all and exceptionally well! We pop in often when we're visiting family in the town. And we were lucky enough to be able to book for their incredible Mothers Day afternoon tea. It was incredible! Rachael and her team go above and beyond for their customers. The food is always delicious, staff always helpful and friendly, I can't recommend them highly enough.

OMG! I’m sooo happy! Not only able to have a gorgeous soya milk latte, but also a gluten free lovely spiced tea cake with lacto free (vegan) spread. I’m on a super-restricted diet and never get all this in one place usually. Lovely staff, calm and gentle atmosphere. Just what I needed. Highly recommend 😁I don’t live locally. I popped in here needing a break from visiting my sick mum in the local care home. Batteries recharged and ready to go again. Thank you Rachel’s!
