Cafe with tasty food at a working farm. Def recommend breakfast wrap, and scrambled eggs looked good. Great to see those enjoying the horses, the chickens in the car park and the farmer doing his thing. It's a cafe on a working farm, so don't expect refined facilities and sophistication, but rustic character and tasty food, yes! Good to support a local business diversifying.

Ignoring the 1 star food hygeine as everyone has a bad day. But. Everything was black on bottem as though the cooking plate hasnt been cleaned. Snotty eggs. Hash brown very greasy. Toast and coffee okay.

Not fine dining but good honest food served in a warm friendly atmosphere with a view through double glazed window into the cow shed. Great for the kids and dog friendly would recommend and return 👍

Update march 24 Unfortunately and it saddens me to say this, I think I got ill after last being here. It wasn't the food - it was the tables. Many tables were left unwiped and there are dogs, cow muck on the floor that's walked in understandably from around the farm, kids running about and touching the kids toy box and tables that perhaps it contaminated my meal. Either way, I was really ill. I'll be honest, I love this place so I decided recently to try it again as the pie is amazing! I really didn't want to believe it was connected. Unfortunately though this time, the farmer who owns it, walked in covered in cow muck, and proceeded to go into the kitchens as they were plating up around him and leaned on the sides to talk to them all. I couldn't believe my eyes. Anyways, needless to say, bacteria in poo is no joke on surfaces around food, so I'm not going back until hygiene is prioritised for customers safety. Great idea this cafe and I really do love the food and people, but its still a new venture that needs some news ways of operating as a safe food venue.

July 23 Brilliant. I watched the cows straight through the full window in the cafe as I had a delicious oozing panini and the tastiest crispiest fries! Gorgeous and a decent sized meal too with fresh blitzed up coleslaw....

The concept is great, and my little one loved getting up close to the cows, but the cleanliness of the cafe and waitstaff let it down. We arrived to two members of staff sitting on their phones at a table near the door, after a couple of minutes standing waiting to order a girl came over and took our order. We sat down and the table was filthy & hadn’t been cleaned after the last people sat there, so we cleaned it ourselves. The table next to ours was also filthy and full of dirty pots and the floors were unswept. We were in here for probably an hour & not once did the staff do any sort of cleaning up. After ordering the staff member went back to sitting on her phone, the two were chatting loudly and swearing (bear in mind we clearly have a toddler with us and there was other families around). We ordered 2 coffees which took longer than our food to arrive. The food was mediocre but can’t complain much for the price. With a few tweaks it could be a lovely little place but unfortunately as it is we won’t...

3 stars for long wait and incorrect order.

A pleasant enough cafe - we visited after the toddler playtime Tots and Pots which is on the grounds. The menu looks good and food is a fair price, including a good deal for kids meals. Ordered a chicken wrap with salad and coleslaw for myself, which i saw written down correctly. The wait for the food was quite long, and when it arrived the server brought the wrap with chips (along with others at our table that also ordered salad), she seemed confused then took them back, but still returned with the same plates so we ate them anyway. It would be helpful if kids food was served before any adults on the same orders as my toddler was getting pretty feisty by the time his food arrived!

The staff were nice. If I was visiting the farm again I would go to the cafe, but wouldn't go out of my...
