S17 Coffee Shop and Bistro — Restaurant in Sheffield

Went for food was told no tables as all booked up the next free table wasn't for long time, so would have to sit outside. In the hour and 25 minutes we were there several groups left creating empty tables to which noone then filled. Had to wait around 25 minutes for drinks to arrive and only because the staff were promted to make them. When we left there were still four tables unoccupied which had remained unoccupied for an hour of the time we were sat outside. Food lovely, staff however, are not.

IN RESPONSE as you cannot reply to a businesses response. The first member of our family arrived at 11.35.35, the next omes at 11.41am it was not made clear we were to order inside at all so we waited until 11.55/12 to go in and order There were four of us to seat as the baby stayed asleep the whole time we were at the establishment, not five. Orders were placed at 12 05 as per my receipt, drinks did not arrive untill gone 12.25pm, seen as Andy has checked the CCTV I'm sure he can give an exact time if this is a fabrication, regardless of whether it was 15, 20, 25 minutes for four coffees as you said, is a bit of a push, don't you think? There were two tables of two empty from 12 until we left at around 13.05/10 (again I'm sure Andy can check CCTV to confirm this. A further table of four was empty from around 12.30 and remained empty again till we left. There was a final table of two empty but I cannot remember exact times and wouldn't want to be accused of further fabrications or exaggerations. After speaking to many other people who have also been to you several times it seems the team is always unncocommodating and struggle under the pressures of busy times. We couldn't be more delighted with the incredible service provided by S17 for our wedding. Their attention to detail and dedication were evident from the moment the delicious canapés started circulating. A dedicated team member constantly checked in on us to ensure we tasted every delightful bite.

The meal that followed was nothing short of spectacular. The pate was exquisite, and the beef, perfectly pink and accompanied by beautifully roasted vegetables, was a true highlight as well as unlimited gravy (my adopted northern husband was thrilled about this). The unique idea of having guests carve their own portions was a hit and added a fun, interactive element that everyone loved.

Though we didn't get to try the evening food due to non-stop dancing, we heard rave reviews from our guests about the roast pork sandwiches, which were described as utterly delicious and melted in the mouth.

We highly recommend S17 for their professionalism, easy-going nature, and outstanding culinary skills. It was the best mass catering food we've ever tasted, even served in a field! Thank you for making our day unforgettable.

We used S17 for the catering for our wedding and they were just exceptional! My husband and I both absolutely love cooking and eating out, and so food was always going to be a huge part of our wedding day and something we wanted to be personal and of a really high standard. Andy exceeded our expectations from the get go.

Andy was absolutely brilliant from the get go - he was super responsive to queries, and the service felt so personable. We changed a couple of things after our tasting and felt so comfortable that our wedding catering was in such safe hands. I was so excited to sit down for our meal at the wedding because I knew it was going to just be amazing, and we had so many guests coming up to us after to tell us they’ve never ate such good food at a wedding, or been so full after a wedding breakfast! A special shout out to the dauphinoise potatoes which were so so tasty - how they manage to cater for 115 people to this high standard is beyond me.
