Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in North East Derbyshire

Came in one Sat afternoon and despite well within opening hours they started serving drinks in ‘paper cups’ and NO hot food as they ‘needed time to clean up’ over half an hour before it CLOSES!!! All staff were therefore repeatedly saying this to every customer and MOANING and being quite HOSTILE like they hated being there!!! Especially the more senior lady with short hair! Nasty!! Even in daytime the staff are abrupt and stand moaning when dirty tables need sorting? Shame...

Positives - food was served quick. Food was hot and tasted ok. Restaurant was clean and condiments / cutlery /napkins were well stocked. Negatives - staff member handled raw eggs while stood in front of a huge sign saying "wash hands after handling raw eggs" he didnt wash his hands, and just wiped his fingers on a tissue, grabbed a plate of cooked food and took it to a customer.
