Three Horseshoes — Restaurant in North East Derbyshire

Walked in with my wife this morning at around 10.30am for the very first time, and received a very warm and friendly welcome from the lovely young lady behind the bar, she was at our table within 2 minutes to take our order, which is very rare in most other places. The breakfast was amazing, and those sausages are to die for, we absolutely loved them, I actually struggled to finish the breakfast, and my wife pinched my last bit of sausage 😲, she said she thought I needed help lol. We will be back for sure, and we can't wait to try dinner there. Amazing place, dont hesitate to pay a visit 😉👍 UPDATE !! Okay so we went back yesterday 5.2.24 for my pre Birthday meal, I had the trio of sausages, which I couldn't resist after having them for breakfast a few days before, see above. My wife had the home made lasagne, which she informed me was the best shes had in her life, and trust me she's had a few lol. Food: 5/5 - the food was excellent as always. The vegan ghoats cheese a red onion tart I normally have was great. All our choices were of great quality. All around satifaction. Non sundays: (Latest) - just as great as always. The burger was not overpowering, but still had a lovely level of flavour! (Like more cheese though) ;)

Building: 4.5/5 - same amazing design as my last review. I've decided my complaint bout the front door is not worth it. Only complaint: although thers no more mould, the area in the men's bathroom I showed still look a little dirty.

First time visiting. Lovely little pub, cozy & homely. Good variety on the menu & reasonably priced.

We ordered the the creamy garlic mushrooms from the starters, it was nice but very soggy. The Halloumi, Aubergine & Mushroom burger, I thought this would be all in one kinda a patty but it wasn't it was 2 battered halloumi burgers with a slice of aubergine in between with mushrooms on the side, it was OK, very greasy, personally think it would have been nicer with just one halloumi burger, some salad on the burger & something like a chilli jam, asked for chunky chips & received sweet potatoe fries, it was a nice meal not sure I would order again. We also ordered the 10oz rump steak, asked for blue & it was cooked to perfection.
