I love having a spot of food here, the food is not only outstanding but fantastic. All food/Drinks are prepared well and never disappoint me, the sizes of food are great and there is so much choice. The Food is always very tasty and leaves me feeling full. The prices are fairly reasonable for what you get as well. I love how it welcomes dog (well behaviour) and all the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The cafe is small inside but does has a few seats outside as well, for those sunny days, it also gets super busy very fast at certain times. But dispite this the staff never seem to be worried or rushed because of this. The atmosphere is great its also lovely and warm and is decorated very well.

The main reason I love it here, is I'm gluten free and vegetarian so it's hard to find places I can safely eat and I'm not limited to 1 or 2 items there is plenty of choice, which is amazing to see. Keep up the great work...

A mate of mine received a notification via social media, regarding Avocado Shells at the Host coffee shop in Clay Cross. The photo looked good, and having been to Host on many occasions, it would have been rude not to head up there and try what looked great in a picture. Easy parking at the back of the premises in a free Council car park, good friendly service, and an order placed for the Avocado Shells. Let me tell you, this is one of the very best breakfast meals I've ever had. Super tasty, fresh ingredients, large serving - so much so I had to go and personally thank the chef! Do yourself a favour, and even if you only try this dish once, it is an experience worth having. It must be - I've bothered to go through all the faff of signing into my Google account to do this. Awesome job Host, and I...

Despite preparing a huge amount of information to say about Host, I need to keep people awake, so here goes...

Do you need gluten free food?

Do you have a craving for a bacon sandwich on chunky white bread?

If so, go to HOST!

Enjoy your sandwich with an expertly prepared and served coffee (I recommend the latte) and listen to the great (some may say eclectic) musical playlist in the wonderful atmosphere this place provides.

The attention to detail and a true understanding of catering gluten free is such a welcome addition to Clay Cross and I look forward to every visit I make.

I cannot fault Christian and the team in dealing with people who are coeliac or have an intolerance to gluten. Please keep this refreshing approach to GF going and I'll see...

Lovely coffee shop, can't wait to go again! We visited yesterday during the Clay Cross Fiver Fest and got to choose any hot drink and any bake from the counter for £5. I chose a Mocha and a Cadbury Caramel Brownie. I am quite the Mocha addict so this is the drink I order in every coffee shop and I can tell you that this was one of the best Mochas I have had. The Brownie was to die for, so gooey I had to eat it with the fork provided! Nice little touch is that everyone gets brought a glass of water when at a table, I think that's a great idea, I always need a bit of water after coffee and food. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very promt at clearing the empty cups and plates away.

Great service and excellent food/drinks. I visited Host for the first time today with my partner who had been a few times and always said how good it is. I can honestly say the establishment has a unique vibe about it, all the staff are friendly and make you so welcome. The drinks are the best coffee I’ve had in a long time and the prices are very reasonable. My partner had bacon Brie and cranberry ciabatta while I had jalapeƱo and four cheese, both outstanding quality. I would highly recommend to anyone going, the caramel cappuccino is well worth the money.
