Friends of ours introduced us to this hidden gem in Hitchin, and this was our second visit (an unplanned, 'hey, let's go for breakfast' on a Sunday type job). We borrowed Sainsbury's car park, (free on Sunday and we did buy flowers from there afterwards, so they are doing ok). Anyway, this is the sort of place you would imagine being what you would want "Sorry, we're a table of 5" - "No problem, we'll move tables for you", "Sorry, can I have mushrooms and beans?" - "Of course, tell us what you want, and we'll do it for you!". It makes it easy to enjoy with the family and the food was delivered fresh, beautifully cooked, the lady who delivered our food was friendly and engaging and we'll deffo be back! Do yourself a favour, get down there and try their food (and Oreo milkshakes for the kids make them think you're the world's best parent). Great job guys,...

Friendly, warm classic cafe, in...

My wife had one of the fantastic full breakfasts (so big she couldn't finish it) and I had a ham, cheese and mushroom omelette with all the trimmings, along with a large cup of tea and a bottle of sparkling water - total bill £21.30 which I thought was very reasonable. The turnaround was quick without being too quick, no pressure to get going. We'll definitely be back and hopefully on a very...
