Little Monkey — Restaurant in North Hertfordshire

I lead an Alkaline Life style I don't eat meat or dairy and the only bread I eat is what I make myself which is spelt bread as it works in conjunction with my alkaline lifestyle

Tonight Saturday 13th Sept 2025 was my first time in the Little Monkey in Hitchin and I had:-

The Tom Ka Soup with coconut milk tofu and mushrooms etc with extra spice absolutely awesome

My main meal was 2 Penang curries (no rice) with plenty of Tofu and plenty of vegetables plus I took another Penang curry home with me as that was equally as awesome as my starter

Do get down to the Little Monkey in Hitchin because the food is incredible along with the staff

When I visit Hitchin again I shall return thankyou again and much Love and Respect to You...

Ate here for the first time a little while back and even as I walked up to collect my takeaway lunch, I was treated to a hit of wonderful aromas.

I had the Pork Belly Bonfire. It was amazing. The pork was delicious and had a nice crispy top to it. The sauce just smacks you in the face with full explosion of flavour. The accompanying vegetables are really well cooked and the rice was perfect.

The ingredients taste really fresh and the flavours are really incredible. I have not been to Thailand but love Thai food and this is the best I have had.

I was given a free can of drink to accompany my meal.

My first time trying Thai Food in Hitchin at Little Monkey. What a fantastic experience. Staff were very nice, warm & friendly. We ordered food for a group of 10 people and we were all amazed at the quality and variety and freshness of the food. Very tasty, enjoyable an explosion of pure deliciousness in your mouth. Everyone was very happy. Would definitely recommend this Restaurant and the Food. Very authentic dishes. Next time I’m back in Hitchin Little Monkey will definitely be my go to number one Restaurant.
