Little Rascals Indoor Play & Party Centre — Attraction in North Hertfordshire

We tried this place out for the first time today. Can't really grumble in terms of activities for my child, ie ball pit, books, trampoline etc, but the service was pretty bad.

We were asked if we wanted a drink, so we ordered ourselves one each. We were told to go through and she'll let us know when they're ready. 20 mins later, we're still waiting for our drinks. I could see she was on her own and a bit busy sorting orders out, so I waited for her to finish what she was doing so I could ask her where our drinks were... turns out, she left them on the counter and didn't even tell us they were ready. It's not hard to give us a little nod or wave... i werent expecting her to bring them over (even though she could have). My tea must have had the tea bag left in the cup for a good 15 mins. It tasted awful!

I would usually query issues like this but I just felt like I wanted to leave. The atmosphere was quite draining and very quiet. It needed music or something, it felt like a library for kids to me!

I came in during the week, last week. The girl that was working seemed like she was out of her depth. I ordered a hot chocolate which was just left on the side unknown to me, she then had her hands all over the food as it was brought out. Now I don't know if she has any kind of problem, but she was very sweaty and did not smell the nicest, to put it in a nice way. She also had her own child with her while working, so was more concerned about what was happening with her own child rather than parents and kids who actually pay and expect a certain level of service. Stay away from this place. They clearly do not take there staff requirements seriously and from an inside source, It was confirmed that they do not carry out any kind of check on the staff that are working there with kids. So be careful. Hopefully they will change something so that they can know the backgrounds and check if the staff that do work there with our children are even allowed or safe to be working with children. No crb checks, no nothing. Would you take your kids to be around people who are a danger? Know your staff, know your kids and the public's kids are safe. Things need to...

One area that could use improvement is the cleanliness of the toilets. Hiring professional cleaners would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, there is no on-site parking, so you’ll need to use public pay-and-display car parks nearby. On a positive note, the food and drink options are reasonably priced, making it a good value for a family outing.

Overall, Little Rascals is a charming little play area with room for improvement, but still worth a visit for a fun and relaxing day...
