What a super hidden gem!! Had cabin fever on the boat so went for a walk. Bumped into this 7 minutes from the boat yard at Potter Heigham. Doesn't look much from the outside but looks are deceiving. Small cosy snug bar at the front, into a larger quiet relaxed dining room then though to a much larger indoor/outdoor sports room! Wish we'd have been here for the football! You should see the mega screens.Outdoor included a plunge/ paddling pool, play ground and a small football area. Loads of seating, patio heaters for when it got colder. We had food around a circular table with it own pit pit in the middle. Food was great, particularly the Chinese garlic chilli chicken and homemade chips. Staff were really warm and friendly. If we lived nearer, THIS WOULD be our local! Everything we love in a pub. A1 Sir, you have a fab little pub that we'll definitely be back to when we're in the area.

Great pub enjoyed with family whilst on holiday. It was dog friendly and the dogs were allowed inside. We had one on our lap and had no complaints from the staff. Staff were very friendly and accommodating we had a table of 8 people and they were very helpful. The food was delicious and served hot, we had a selection of different menu items and all of us enjoyed our meals. The most important thing was that the desserts were great too! We had 2 children with us and they were well catered for, the staff were friendly to them and they felt at ease. The decor was lovely and modern, and the place was very clean. The children enjoyed going outside in the small play area they have, and I imagine the garden area would be lovely to sit in during the summer. A shame that we are only visiting the area as we would have enjoyed to come back.

We called here for food and a drink. The car park is easily accessible and quite large. There is a playarea for children and places to sit outside. The pub is dog friendly. We ordered a toastie and a special chips and pulled pork, a pint of larger and a lime and soda water, total cost was approx £18.00. Service was quick and friendly, but it wasn't busy. The sausage and onion toastie was nothing special but the pull pork was really good. It was peaceful sat outside in the sunshine, we would eat here again but wouldn't make a special journey to do so.

Food wasn't great to be honest. The Patatas bravas were made with tinned tomatoes and green potatoes... (Which, even though we complained about the green potatoes they were left on the bill) Definitely like no other we have ever tasted (made with tinned tomatoes?). Not enjoyed by anyone on the table. Chicken Kiev was presented nice enough but came with undercooked potatoes with some strange flavourless 'soil' on top. Burger we had was also undercooked and raw in the middle (not just pink, raw). Scotch egg for starter wasn't cooked properly in the middle. I think the only person that enjoyed their meal was the risotto which was actually beautifully presented.

The kids meals were bad. Incredibly cheap hotdog served at a massive premium that even a hungry 5yr old that loves hotdogs couldn't eat. The Mac n cheese had a sweet flavour, taster like a packet sauce and was not enjoyed.

As for drinks.... Managed to get 1 during the meal in total. No one came to clear plates. No one asked us if we wanted deserts. No one asked us if we wanted any more drinks. Service was poor all the way through and meal cost £125 for 4 adults and 2 kids.

All in all, not an experience I'd...
