We are a family of 5, myself my husband and my 3 boys, 2 of my boys are neurodivergent, autism and adhd, the atmosphere and setting has to be right if we are to stay at length anywhere, we stayed all evening! There was live music which was brilliant! The pub itself does not serve food, but there was an option that evening to order in the most delicious pizzas I've ever tasted! My husband ordered by whats app and within 20 minutes they had been delivered to the pub to our table! Amazing!! We sat in a cosy nook type area of the pub with sofas, so we were very comfortable. The decor is beautiful, one of the nicest little pubs I've ever been in, it was clean too no sticky tables. My children felt safe we stayed until just after 10pm, people were there to have fun and enjoy themselves there wasn't any trouble it had a family friendly vibe and my youngest lad was up and dancing along to the music which is unheard of! The drinks are reasonably priced local ales and very refreshing cider which went down a treat as it was a hideously hot day! And then there is the staff, I myself have worked in pubs as bar staff and it is a tiresome job...borderline tedious in some cases but at the Peasants Tavern there was not a member of staff that didn't look happy in their work, so welcoming, a genuine happiness to make peoples experience a good one! Not just service with a smile. I would recommend The Peasants Tavern and we will certainly be back again. 5 stars would give more if there...

We live in Surrey so unfortunately we may not get the chance to visit again but if we are that way again we shall do for sure, I only wish there where more pubs like this about, would thoroughly recommend it. Also as a side note they allow you to bring food in from outside and provide you with cutlery etc we did not eat as we had eaten previously hence why I didn't leave a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA very welcome addition to the area with a great selection of cask ales and bottled speciality beers. The pies and sausage rolls are top quality with all prices pitched sensibly and realistically, especially given the quality It's a very smart little pub in a great location which appears to have taken on a new lease of life. Criticism of the name can only stem from historical ignorance given it's nod towards the Peasants Revolt and the battle of North Walsham in 13 81 This pub is a gem not...
