White Swan — Restaurant in North Norfolk

Unfortunately this pub is not what it used to be. The last time I visited (going back a while now), the atmosphere was brilliant! The pub was always buzzing with people from around the area. Upon my recent visit I'm appalled! The manager seems friendly and welcoming to start with, however sitting in earshot of the conversations, I could be right to suggest that he is very rude and opinionated. I brought in my own food though so not to complain, not many pubs accommodate for this. My pint was good, but the area I sat in was extremely unpleasant. The old busty barmaid didn't seem to know how to clean the work area instead of constantly talking to the customers. I'm all one for being friendly but your employed to do a job. Popped into here after a very long car trip to have a drink and use the restroom. Since my first priority was relieving myself, I headed straight to the restroom where I was blocked by an elderly staff lady, who basically told me in other words, to get lost, and use the public toilet down the road. I'm not sure if she knew I was a patron, and planning to order drinks and food, but neither did she bother to ask. It was an incredibly rude and presumptuous way to conduct herself. I can't believe this establishment doesn't train their staff...

Went in on recommendation from a member of public that if you ask nicely to use the toilets they will allow you too. Public toilets all shut my daughter needed to use a toilet after a long journey. Landlady very rude as soon as we entreated chanting ID ID ID adamant needed ID and a child under 18 can’t be in a pub, insisted public toilets open definitely would not recommend this pub ….. her attitude absolutely stinks and this is what gives her pub a bad...
